Tuesday, March 1 @7pm Overwhelmed by your yard or gardens? Don't know where to start? THIS IS FOR YOU! Join Heather LIVE on an interactive garden journey creating a landscape or garden design. She will discuss with you options and ideas for your own garden/landscape and answer any questions. After taking this course, you will be able to: - measure your site - select plants appropriate for your site - know how to hire a quality contractor (Ontario, Canada) - define your desired garden design style and colour palette - roughly sketch-out design ideas and layouts for your property or garden - know where to source materials (London, Ontario, Canada) - calculate the material quantities you will need - roughly estimate the cost of materials - have a better idea of where to start and what to do next WHAT YOU'LL NEED Access to the internet & beverage of your choice. In 2020, she was able to teach at Fanshawe College (online) in the Landscape Design program. She has lived in India, studied design in Egypt, explored gardens in Italy then Spain and volunteered in Haiti. She has spent the last seven years working in Landscape Maintenance and Project Management. In 2020, she started her own business - My Landscape Artist in London, Ontario. Her passion for plants and their ability to improve our mood, provide food for people and pollinators and beautify spaces is the source of her enthusiasm.
